Christian Virtual Assistance is the first ever donation based digital needs platform for Christian congregations and Non-Profit Organizations.
If your Mission is 501(c)3 approved in the USA, or if you have been vetted by Christian organizations within the USA, please connect with me
If your profile is not listed here, please don’t assume that you don’t qualify for help. We invite all non-profit organizations to apply if your mission is to enhance the betterment of all humanity.
That is dependent on your organization. We ask you to consider donating to CVA to help us cover our costs, but it is not required.
This is a bit tricky to answer, but we’ll do our best.
Yes. We use Dropbox for digital storage. Any collateral we create is stored there. We also provide clients with a Website Owners Manual containing all the information you will ever need to know about your website.
Websites are fully backed up and we keep multiple copies on file at all times. Your backups are never saved on the server of origin.
Moving away from CVA care is your prerogative and we would not hinder your decision to move. All digital files are yours.
Please know our website licensing would not go with you and the domain would need to be transferred to your custody. Of course if it is a sub-domain (https://yourorg.cva.org) then you would need to buy a domain name (we recommend Hover – privacy is free and records management is a breeze!)
Your site will use the “HTTPS://” protocol.
SSL certificates are what enable websites to move from HTTP to HTTPS, which is more secure. An SSL certificate is a data file hosted in a website’s origin server. SSL certificates make SSL/TLS encryption possible, and they contain the website’s public key and the website’s identity, along with related information.
We also run security software on your website to help keep your site safe to use.
Maybe. If you are a 501(c)3 organization you may qualify for Google for Non-Profits. If you have your letter of Non-Profit standing we will need a copy of of it (privately uploaded, never send that stuff via email) and we will handle the overly complex and arduous task of getting that in place. It is WELL worth the time and effort we expend because it would open all of the Google tools to your organization. IF you have your 501(c)3 in place we ask that you DO NOT submit your information. As we said before the process is complex – it will most likely take six or more weeks to complete.
If you do NOT have a registered organization, you can purchase email inboxes through Hover for $20/yr per inbox. We do insist on one @domainname.org inbox for the sake of configuring web form authentication and API authenticity.
We do basic on-site SEO and no off-site SEO. It will be up to you to handle the Google My Business registration. We will setup Google Analytics for you and loop you into the setup, but again it will be up to you to monitor that data.
We do not manage the social media aspect, but we will help you get it set up and looking good if you need it.
You can use any payment gateway of your choice.
We recommend STRIPE, but we also have clients who use Paypal. There are other gateway options available, and if you have one already, we can link to it or integrate it if possible.
No worries. This is a learning process for us too. Please use this form (or hit us up in the chat window) and we’ll do our best to provide answers.
If you are part of the administrative team for your organization, we invite you to join the private Facebook group for community support, share experiences, and ongoing growth opportunities.
